You’re going to appreciate the benefits of Overdraft Privilege! It’s so convenient and simple to use.
Here’s how it works:
Your Overdraft Privilege helps you avoid returned or declined items by making discretionary courtesy payments to cover insufficient funds up to 600.00 dollars.
Then, bring your checking account back to a positive balance within 30 days from the time of your first overdraft on your account, and you can use your Overdraft Privilege again the very next day!
Each time you overdraw your account and we cover your transaction, we’ll charge you our customary $30 NSF fee. But that’s all you’ll pay. No late fee. No interest. And no returned check fee from the merchant!
Overdraft Privilege is a service we provide that could approve a transaction, even if you don’t have enough money in your account at that moment.
Our standard overdraft practice authorizes and pays overdrafts for checks and other transactions made using your checking account or automatic bill payments.
Beginning August 15, 2010, our standard overdraft practices do not authorize and pay overdrafts for ATM or everyday debit card transactions unless you Opt In and authorize us to include these transactions in your Overdraft Privilege service.
Many of our customers appreciate the ability to overdraw their account in certain instances, instead of having their debit card purchase declined at the store register. When you buy something or get cash immediately, having the overdraft service means that we will consider approving those transactions when you don’t have the money in your account.

This chart shows the types of transactions that are currently considered for Overdraft Privilege and how that will change depending on your choice. When you do Opt In, you’ll have the same service you have today and gain overdraft service on ATM and everyday debit card transactions.

We pay overdrafts at our discretion and we do not guarantee that we will always authorize and pay any type of transaction. If we do not authorize and pay an overdraft, your transaction will be declined.
If you want Community Capital Bank to authorize and pay ATM and everyday debit card transactions, please complete the secure Opt In form. You can also call or visit your local branch.
