Board of Directors
Don A. Barnette serves as Chairman of the Board of Directors. He is the Owner and President of Market Grocery Company, a wholesale grocer located at the State Farmer’s Market which services the convenience store and restaurant industry. Formerly, he has served on the board of Tara State Bank and First Citizens Bank of Georgia. Mr. Barnette has also served as an Advisory Director for BB & T’s South Atlanta Board.
James E. Sutherland, Sr. serves as Vice-Chairman of the Board of Directors. He is Chairman of the Board of Sutherland’s Foodservice, Inc., a food wholesaler and distributor to the restaurant industry in Atlanta. He was an organizing Director of the Bank of Spalding County and served on the Board of Directors of Premier Bancshares prior to its merger with BB & T Corporation in January 2000.
W. Kevin Brumbeloe serves as President and Chief Executive Officer of Community Capital Bank. Prior to joining the Bank, he served as Executive Vice President and Senior Loan Officer of Eagle National Bank. Mr. Brumbeloe is a member of the Henry County, Fayette County and Clayton County Chambers of Commerce, an alumnus of Leadership Henry and Leadership Fayette, a member of the Henry Council for Quality Growth and the Georgia Bankers Association CEO Roundtable.
James M. Baker is the President of the Chaseland Corporation, an Atlanta based commercial real estate development company and Baker & Lassiter, Inc., an Atlanta based asset management company. Mr. Baker was appointed in 1995, by Gov. Zell Miller to serve on the State Board of Children and Youth Council and served for 10 years. The University System of Georgia listed Mr. Baker among its top alumni in its 75 year history. Mr. Baker was additionally honored as a nominee to the Georgia Board of Regents Hall of Fame. Mr. Baker continues to serve on local bank boards in the Atlanta Metro Area and remains active in Real Estate Development in Atlanta.
Dr. James B. Barlow has been a physician with Pinnacle Emergency Consultants since 1989. In addition to being an emergency physician he is an owner and officer of Summit Medical Services, an emergency department management company.
Timothy A. Chapman is CEO of Stadion Money Management, a registered investment advisory firm managing $1.7 billion dollars. In addition to his duties as CEO of Stadion Money Management, Mr. Chapman also serves as co-portfolio manager for the Stadion Managed Portfolio Trust and the Stadion Core Advantage Fund.
Charles S. Conklin, III is Vice President of Old Peachtree Estates, developing commercial properties in the Atlanta area.
Terry C. Cullen is President of Terry Cullen Southlake Chevrolet in Jonesboro and two Chevrolet dealerships in Kentucky. He is active in the Clayton County Rotary Club and has also served as a mentor in Clayton County schools since 1991.
Deborah C. Guest has been employed with North American Money Order Company since 1991, and currently serves as their Chief Financial Officer.
Charles P. Hood is owner and broker of SouthPort Commercial Real Estate Services, LLC. He works primarily in south Atlanta on industrial and commercial real estate. Mr. Hood has been a member of the Atlanta Commercial Board of Realtors since 1990 and has achieved the Phoenix Award and the Alvin B. Cates Award.
Terry J. Starr has been employed by Terrell Starr Insurance Agency as a partner since 1975. In 1995 he became President and Owner of the agency. Mr. Starr is also the owner of Tulip Properties, LLC, a real estate holding and development company.
William B. Tomasello is a managing partner of Tomasello, Plageman & Miller, LLC a Certified Public Accounting Practice. Tomasello, Plageman & Miller, LLC is a Certified Public Accounting firm that provides individual and business tax and consulting services to the Southern Crescent. He is a member in good standing with the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and The Georgia Society of Certified Public Accountants.
M. Allan Vigil is President and Owner of Allan Vigil Ford Lincoln Mercury in Morrow and Allan Vigil Ford of Fayetteville.
