CURRENT EVENTS

Banking has never been more challenging than it is today.  The credit crunch has been in full swing for over a year now and most metro Atlanta banks are feeling the pain from new residential construction and subdivision development loans, some more than others.  CCB did not escape this negative pain completely, but we have been successful in navigating through these times and have the capital position to withstand the negative impact of these loan assets and continue our growth strategy.    I believe the economy will be sluggish in the coming few quarters due to the effects of the credit crunch but opportunities will be there for us to add to our market share and continue to grow our franchise. 

We have a seasoned management team that is ready to be your mentor to help you with any facet of your personal or commercial banking needs.  We recently introduced our business debit card and our remote deposit capture service “On-Site Teller” to assist our commercial clients.  We also now offer free ATM service at all non-CCB ATMs anywhere in the world.  And don’t forget about the hot topic of the moment, FDIC coverage.  Even if you are not a customer, please contact us to discuss any questions you may have about FDIC insurance coverage.  We will be glad to discuss your particular situation and assist you in getting the answers you need so you can rest easy.  These are just a few of the products and services that we continue to bring to the communities we serve to support the needs of our clients.
